Baltic Event’s POWR Screenwriters’ Pitching Workshop gives Nordic and Baltic screenwriters access to an informal and international forum where they can present their projects and writing talent during the largest regional film market in North-Eastern Europe. This year we also invited talents from Baltic Event’s focus region Flanders, Belgium to participate.

7 screenwriters will be selected to improve their project’s pitch through group sessions, lectures and rehearsals. The workshop is an open, generous, and sharing atmosphere, leaded by Valeria Richter (Denmark/TFL), pitch coach Helene Granqvist (Sweden) and selected industry guests. The open pitch will take place on November 29, and will be followed by a round table session where selected producers and other film industry representatives will share their feedback and advice. POWR is an intensive and fun experience, that mixes project work and networking events.

This workshop is organized by Baltic Event in collaboration with the region’s Creative Europe MEDIA Desks and TorinoFilmLab (TFL).

POWR Pitch will be open to all Industry accreditation holders on Wednesday, 29.11 at 10.00-11.00 in the Vega hall of Nordic Hotel Forum.
